IND vs WI Live Score, 2nd Test Day 4: WI (248, 252/3) at Lunch, tired India struggling against Chase and Hope

This is probably the second session in the entire series that West Indies have dominated.

When India followed-on West Indies, they hoped to finish this game in Day 3, or morning session of Day 4 at best.

However, a gritty display from the Windies batting order has meant that they are just 18 runs behind India’s 518 total and still have 7 wickets in hand.

India had a small breakthrough when they were able to shut the door on the 177-run stand between Campbell and Hope. The left hander was trapped LBW while trying to play a reverse sweep.

However, India failed to make inroads after that and ended up getting dominated by Shai Hope and Roston Chase, who dictated the pace of play.

Shubman Gill tried to switch between his spinners, but apart from Jadeja, and some flashes from Kuldeep, mostly they were rendered ineffective.

That’s about it from the morning session. See you after half an hour for the second session of the day.

2nd Test, Day 4 Live Score: West Indies (248, 252/3 (f/o) in 78 overs) trail India (518/5d) by 18 runs. Shai Hope (92*), Roston Chase (23*).
