Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is in London today for a meeting of the coalition of the willing – a group of countries that have pledged to protect peace in Ukraine if a ceasefire agreement is reached.

Alongside Zelensky, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is hosting Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof – with France’s President Emmanuel Macron joining virtually.

The leaders are expected to discuss ways to increase pressure on Moscow through sanctions, as well as strengthening Ukraine’s defences using frozen Russian assets.

Following an attack on a Russian chemical plant using British-supplied weapons this week, an increase in the provision of long-range weapons for Ukraine is also being considered.

We’ll be following this closely and bringing you all the key moments as they happen throughout the day.
